Going back to Mountain View

After three days of non-stop fun we had worn out both my aunt and ourselves ;) We took Tuesday off. She just chilled at her hotel and we chilled at home. Tyler came by in the evening to hang out but that was it. Me and the kittie cats literally did nothing that day which was great.

The next day I wanted to show Ingegerd Mountain View since that is where I lived and worked as an au pair. We just drove by the new house since I hadn't told my host family we would be in the neighborhood. They would have been fine with me just dropping by but still :P didn't want to make it awkward. But we went to our old house and checked out the garden and looked in through the windows. The house had been sold so it was a weird feeling walking around there thinking about all of the memories. It was such a tiny house for all of those people but the only thing that really bothered us was the tiny kitchen. Me and Ingegerd had brunch at The Posh Bagel where I have been a million times to pick up bagels for the kids. My favorite thing to eat there is their crepes so we had one of those each! I noticed that the fish store downtown that closed a while ago had opened as a new store. It's called Rocket Fizz and Nick said they have that store closer to where he lives too. It was like walking into the past! Old games, funny signs, candy that I know was popular in the 80's etc. I loved it! I wanted to buy an I LOVE LUCY sign because both me and Nick are huge fans, but I needed to save my money. Then my aunt said she'd by it for us, very nice of her! Now it's hanging in our room :)

You can't go to California and not check out the houses in the hills. The further up the hills you live, the richer you are. We don't really have crazy huge mansions where I live, just a few, but the houses are still very nice. So I took my aunt on a car tour in Los Altos hills and she thought it was beautiful :) We actually saw places that I have never seen before! We found a crazy cool house which looked like a tree that had been carved out. The design was just so interesting. It was surrounded by a giant backyard that looked like a forest. I can only imagine what it looks like on the inside! To finish our little tour we drove way up on the Los Altos hills road and ended up by the mountains. We saw a group of deer running around far away which is one of the things I love most about the mountains and nature, all of the wild animals you get to see. The view was gorgeous. Yet another fun day came to an end!

Twixie bear sleeping in on our day off
How cute is this??
Lol I guess it's possible to sleep this way. At least if you're a cat.
I seriously didn't know this tiny little lady could be this long xD
Lol I love it when the kitties hide in the closet because when you least expect it there is an adorable face in there.
Time to pick up my aunt! I got this t-shirt from Nick that he ordered and didn't think looked good on him, so I got it instead :)
By the old house
Love this store!
Tree house!!! I'm not sure I'd want to live here myself but it still looks hella cool.
Back home and the kitties are just where I left them... ;)
