A beauty, a beast and a thunderstorm

We bought the obligatory Minnie Mouse ears and immediately blended in perfectly with everyone else who wore Disney outfits. This place really isn't just for kids. It's magical for everyone!

We really enjoyed wathing "Beauty and The Beast" live. The actors were great and did the movie justice. I even shed a few silent tears when The Beast almost got killed ;) his growling sounded a bit pathetic though, lol. Grrrr. As our day was reaching its end we just had a few more things left to do. One of them was to see the "Lights, motors, action! Extreme stunt show". We noticed a few gray clouds in the sky but didn't think much of it. The show was set outside and the audience were seated on one of those big things they have in arenas that can fit thousands of seats in it. So we had to climb a whole bunch of stairs to finally find a place to sit. That was when the lightning and thunder started. Oh great. People were still making their way up the stairs when the crew called out in the speakers that the show had been delayed. We sat there for a good long while. We had to catch our bus back to the hotel and there were a few things we wanted to do before then. So we decided not to wait for the show longer than 45 minutes. Half an hour later all hell broke lose when it started pouring down rain. We were somewhat covered but it was obvious that the rain wouldn't stop anytime soon. Thousands of people weren't sure if they should stay or go, especially the ones with little kids. But as soon as the crew called out that the show had been cancelled me and my sister bolted! We managed to run down to the street where there was a small roof we could take cover under but we were already soaked. I found it kind of funny but my sister definitely did not :P lol. I was bummed out that we didn't get to see the show because I had been looking forward to it. But I had to laugh when we were walking out of the venue, with our clothes dripping wet and one guy from the staff said "Thank you for visiting the lights and motors waterpark!!" ;) haha!

Dinner could have been better. We went to an Italian restaurant where the air condition was on of course since it had been burning hot outside just a while ago! So we sat there shivering while I had to eat food that I didn't even like. I don't know what they put in there, but yuck! Our last stop was the "Walt Disney; One man's dream" museum. I already knew a lot about this man but I loved learning a ton more. I'm kind of a spounge when I'm interested in something. I soak up all information I can possibly find about it. And some people, like Walt Disney, are simply fascinating.

Oh well, time to leave Hollywood Studios. On the bus back to our hotel I told my sister "Oh look over there, what a nice hotel! I wouldn't mind living there". And my sister goes "Uuhh that IS our hotel"... gosh darn it, it was ;) hahaha. I was tired and it was very dark outside, those are my excuses.

How I love the movie that is based on this ride!!!!
Beauty and The Beast
The whole set for the extreme stunts was soaked...
The look on my sisters face says it all ;) hahaha
Hmpf, didn't like this. The yellow stuff was too spicy and had a very odd flavor...
Christmas store
The Hollywood Tower Hotel looked just like it's supposed to with those gray clouds in the background ;)
Walt Disney museum :) you got to see everything from the time that he was born, until all of the parks were built
We ran into a dance party with Mickey and Minnie Mouse on our way out of the park :D
