Kentucky Fried Chicken is a must

My aunt had to get some vacation too and not just run around like a crazy jet-lagged tourist! So we spent one evening just having Togo's sandwiches and watching the movie "Meet the Parents". The next day we weren't sure what to do. I picked her up from the hotel in the evening and were driving to the house when I suddenly saw a KFC. I immediately turned around and in to their parking lot, lol. I had totally forgotten about this place and thought my aunt would love it. All of a sudden our evening plans were set. We would eat Kentucky Fried Chicken and watch "Meet the Fockers" haha! :D She loved it!

When Nick came home from work I had dropped my aunt off at her hotel and was pretty damn full after that dinner. But it was Friday night after all so we decided to head over to the Boulevard. There were no people there that we knew but we were enjoying getting to hang out just the two of us, because that never happens when we are out and about. After a short while we went to our second home Effie's instead. We had many interesting conversations with many of our older friends about work and relationships. Those nights are just as great as the party nights. Effie's is wonderful in the way that you can dance around and have fun in the bar, but outside there is always an interesting topic to be discussed and everyone goes there just to chill. On our way home we sang out loud together in the car to our favorite songs, haha. We had such a blast. And Nick sure was happy to come home to some Kentucky Fried Chicken! ;)

Oh Snickers. How I miss this fluffy tummy tum. Whenever you walk by her she rolls over like a dog, haha! My aunt loves animals so she was thrilled to be surrounded by them.
We both kept taking photo after photo to document my aunt's time here :)
Ugh so delicious, we ended up splitting the bill and buying food so it would be enough for the whole family! Chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, fries, bread aaaand I forgot my favorite part - the mac n cheese!! Oh the disappointment xD
