Freezing cold kitties
Thanksgiving was coming up and the weather during the day time was perfect! The big kids were home from school so we spent an afternoon in downtown Los Altos which is especially beautiful during the fall. The perfect mix of sunshine, gorgeous colored leaves and a few Christmas decorations makes this one of my favorite times of the year in California. It was so cold at night time though, compared to Sweden it was nothing, but in the moment I certainly didn't love it. We saved money by not turning the heater on at Nick's house (where I stayed every night) so it was freezing. There was one week where it was really bad and whenever I came home the cats were always laying on the bed close to each other, because even they thought it was too cold both outside and inside! I felt so bad for them that I bundled them up in blankets on the bed which they loved, except for Reese of course :P All of the kitty girls fell asleep and were so cute laying there all cuddled up and snoring. I was still shivering since I had sacrificed all of the blankets to them, haha, but they are my babies!

My baby Twixie came and sat on my lap one day. That doesn't happen a lot but when it's really cold she loves laying on my lap or on grandma's lap.
Who in the world sleeps with their face planted into the mattress?? xD hahaha
