San Jose Christmas lights
On our way home from Santa Cruz me, Nick and Indy decided to do something that me and Nick had planned forever ago - drive around and see Christmas lights! Some neighborhods where we live really go all out there. Just like in the American movies and what we Swedish people imagine. One thing that I found to be disappointing in Mountain View and the small cities surrounding it was that there was not a whole lot of Christmas stuff. Some houses had snow men, santa's and some lights but in general it looked pretty bleak. I honestly though it would be different in the "richer" areas!
That is one of the reasons why I am excited about living in San Jose. I would trade every expensive and fancy neighorbod in the world to live in a middle class area with a billion Christmas decorations!! If I don't get snow, then I need to know it's the holidays in some other way :P haha! When me and Nick finally have our own place some day I will turn it into the warmest and coziest holiday heaven. Just wait and see!
We didn't want to do a thing the next day so we bought donuts on our way home, so we had gotten that done :P haha
