Christmas was getting close and I was very excited about it! It really is one of my favorite times of the year. It still looked like fall outside but was very cold. Luckily Nick's dad had been nice and bought us an electric cover for our bed! We no longer had to freeze for like an hour until we could fall asleep! SO grateful for that blue cover.

 

It was the last day of school for the kids and I didn't actually realize it until afterwards. Wow, I'll never pick them up from school again. Kinda sad! Lucille picked up Daniel on his last day and then dropped him off with me. Me and Daniel hung out and had fun until it was time to meet up with Lucille outside of Amanda's school because they had some last day activites there. Daniel was so funny running around with his jacket pulled up so it looked like he didn't have a head :P

At Nick's house life kept going as always. But we got some Christmas presents in the mail which was fun. My parents sent a package with Sweden's best chocolate and several Santa Lucia decorations and a candle that smelled really good. Nick loved it!

 

Living with Nick's grandparents can be interesting at times. Grandpa sure is one of a kind.
Grandpa - "I've told grandma that when I die I want to buried face down".
Nick - "So that everyone can kiss your ass?"
Grandpa - "Yeah!"
