Clay snakes wrapped up in blankets & a cookie monster

Daniel brought home a surprise to the family one day when I picked him up from school. It was a drawing of the house. He was SO excited about this and we planned when the best time to present it would be. He came up to me whispering when he was going to gather up the family. Although he ended up having an extremly short treasure hunt where he himself was the one who found the present, hahaha! He just couldn't wait any longer xD which was too cute. When his parents opened it and were happy with their surprise Daniel looked at me like "Yes! Way to go, this turned out just as we had hoped!!". It was just so endearing. We're a good little team him and me ;)

I enjoyed my moments with the kids as much as I could in the last few weeks. One night I hung out with Matteo in the playroom and he kept giving me one clay cookie after another which I "ate" by slipping them under my leg when he wasn't watching, lol. Then Amanda came in and saw Matteo dancing around in the funny way he does and we both looked at each other and laughed. She is at that wonderful age where she gets what grown ups are thinking most of the time and can see what is so funny when Matteo is dancing so intensely that you think he's going to fall over :P Eventually Daniel joined us too and all three kids sat there making flowers, polar bears and snakes wrapped up in blankets with clay. They were so calm which is rare at that time of night!

As always in the last 4-5 months I went back to San Jose after work. Nick came home 00:30 for once, instead of around 2am. I fell asleep after having our typical late midnight dinner but woke up in the middle of the night and saw him eating the choolate gingerbread cookies that I had made!! Haha :D Nick doesn't have a sweet tooth at all so when I baked those I didn't think he'd eat more than one. But I woke up in the middle of the night several times during the next few weeks seeing him munching away; "They're just so chewy and delicious!!" Haha! *Happy*

Meeting up with the nanny and Matteo at the library to drop off Daniel with them, so that I can pick up Amanda from school. Afternoons sure are busy!
Nick can make quite the burgers... that little drop is hot sauce... you obviously don't want to use too much of that :P
Ooh you little Bug <3
My elephant Roger got ready to pack up my room in Mountain View ;)
Had a pretty little rainbow on my bed!
Christmas decorations downtown
When you look over at the cats and they are holding paws <3 (although if the other one had been awake and known about it she'd be pissed, haha!)
