Christmas with our karaoke family

Christmas Eve in America isn't that special, most people still have work. But in Sweden that is the day that we celebrate Christmas! So I spent most of my time just laying in bed waiting for Nick come home from work at 6pm. Luckily UPS didn't keep him there all night. Anyone who hadn't sent their Christmas presents by then simply had only themselves to blame ;)

There was a Christmas party at Effie's that night and it was such a blast. Almost everyone in our Effie's family were there, plus a couple of more awesome people that we made friends with. We danced, danced, sang, danced, ate Christmas food and there was also a gift lottery where you could end up getting the funniest things. It was a magical night and there was no doubt in my mind that Nick is the one person that I want to spend every single one of my Christmases with for the rest of my life. At one point he picked me up and literally ran straight through the bar and out on the parking lot, hahaha. I laughed so hard. Don't know where he got all of that energy from but he was probably high on happiness too xD

We were the only people left after everyone went home. So the bartender was nice and gave us the leftover chips, cookies and Christmas presents that hadn't been handed out in the lottery! We got a candel, water bottle, a picture frame that said "Home sweet home" and a bunch of crossword books.

The day before Christmas Eve Nick managed to slash a hole in his tire while making a quick turn down the street xD haha Oupps!
Luckily it was easily fixed!
Aww...
At Effie's even the "No smoking" sign was decorated in Christmas lights, haha!
I think this is so sweet! It'll hang in our kitchen one day.
