Me and Nick were both sick over Christmas with really bad colds. But we pushed through the celebrations so that we could pass out and get some rest before New Years xD We went to Nick's mom's house with his brother Chris and cousin Brandon so I finally got to meet his mom, step dad and two sisters. I had such a great time and the food was deliiiiicious! Ingrid had even gotten me and Nick our own stockings with presents in them. So sweet! When we cleaned out Nick's closet we found one of his old Christmas stockings in there and I complained about my own stockings being back home in Sweden, but now I have one in America too! We brought some Christmas presents too. We had been up early that day baking some of my favorite treats - kongresser! Nick was so cute helping me make them ;) He didn't think he would like it since he prefers to cook food but he ended up having fun! Well, maybe not the part when he had to stick his hands down in the dough to mix the ingredients ;) haha! But these almond treats turned out great so we brought a bunch over to his family as Christmas presents!
