Fun hangouts
We got my engagement ring in the beginning of September! Although we couldn't find a good one for Nick and mine ended up being too big even though it looked alright when we bought it. So I actually have a new one now. I'll show pictures of it later. But it was fun to wear that first ring for two weeks as a symbol.
Our good friend John celebrated his birthday in the beginning of September and we ended up having a good old time! Me and Nick were so lazy all day so we didn't get to the pizza place until they were all done eating :P haha. But we had a great time playing darts and spending time with everyone at a bar afterwards.
In the middle of all this fun stuff Nick got the worst allergic reaction that I have ever seen. We went to Urgent Care for what would be the first of many times to figure out what caused this. This week they finally came to the conclusion that he has a lot more allergies than he knew of. Although he already knew he was allergic to dust. His work place is very dusty and lifting all of those boxes makes him sweaty. Not a great combination for his skin. But hopefully they will give him stronger allergy pills than what you can buy in the stores so that he won't have to deal with this again.
Ready to cook some dinner and then go out to celebrate John's birthday!
In the morning before Nick wakes up I sometimes watch Swedish children's movies because I love it. It does of course makes me feel closer to Sweden, but I have always loved doing this long before I moved to The States. It's cosy :)
