The tourist in me!

I thought I should write a blog post about some of the things I have bought here in the U.S. Clothes and fashion are not an interest of mine so I don't see a point in showing that stuff. I want to show you the typical tourist stuff and also things that I can't wait to start using when me and Nick have our own place one day! This idea came to me when I started organizing my room in Mountain View. Just to figure out what to take with me to Sweden and what to leave at Nick's house. I'll obviously come back soon and will bring even more things from Sweden so I am packing my bags as light as I can (trickyyyy!!).

At the Wizarding World of Harry Potter I just HAD to buy a Gryffindor scarf!!! I am looking forward to wearing it while making my way through one snow storm after another.
A cute mug that I got at Disney World. It's not actually true that I hate mornings but the picture of Grumpy is adorable.
I got this table runner in Chicago around Thanksgiving. It has such a nice fall theme. I defintitely won't want to use this until we have our own home with our own table. It's just one of those things that I wan't to save.
Picture frames from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and California :) I also got the painting to the left in San Diego, I think it would light up our kitchen in a nice way one day,
So many letters and cards that I have gotten during my time here!  And to the right is a note book that I bought in Sweden because I wanted to write down all of my recipes and also add new American ones. Did I even open this book? Haha, nope! I hope I'll bring myself to do it in the next year to come.
I also made a photo album in Sweden. Do you think I opened this? Maybe one time. That's it.
It includes memories from Sweden and my own photos of Sweden's nature
Like I have mentioned before I have developed a thing for kitchen towels. Not boring ones with just stripes on them. I want different themes! In my collection right now I have three Easter towels, a couple of orange/red fall towels, a baking towel and also one with one of my favorite quotes on it - "Excuse the mess but the kids are making memories". We won't even use that one until we have kids of course, haha ;)
Found my old hair piece and realized that I can start using it again since I'm back to being a brunette
This whole bag will pretty much only have things in it and no clothes... ugh!
One of my favorite things I have bought is this Inidian Tribes map that I got a festival in downtown Mountain View. I'm very interested in Native American history so this will be great to frame and put up on the wall!
Oh Twix, I dont think I have ever taken a cuter picture of a cat... ;)
Badass Buggy
After organizing my things for a couple of house I got ready to meet up with Neda
Dinner at BJ's with my girl!
Although they had changed the recipe for the Spaghetti Marinara so it was crazy spicy. They let me have Spaghetti Alfredo instead which was yummy :) Afterwards we ended up going to Effie's to meet up with Nick and Noah who just got off work.
