Rock n roll is in my soul
Sitting here looking through old pictures from music festivals and gigs I have been to. It's incredible how many amazing people I've met through the years. There are people from all over the world who I can call my friends no matter if we talk every day or once every six months. I lost interest in going to gigs in the last year because I was looking forward to going away as an au pair so much. But there is still a part of me that misses this. To mingle in rock clubs with people who I maybe have never spoken to, but I feel totally comfortable with them because we are all the same in heart and soul. And then dancing and laughing through the night with my friends from Germany, France, England, Sweden, Finland, America, Poland... the list goes on and on. It's strange how things can change though. There was a group of Swedish girls who I usually traveled with. I left the country, one got married and one passed away this summer (Rest in peace Helena). It feels like we are on a break right now but will some day go back to meeting each other at these crazy events. It's just who we are. Rock n roll is in our souls.
Hanging out backstage at Alice Cooper concerts, walking on the streets of France until 5 in the morning, watching a billion sunrises in Stockholm, driving for hours city to city, so much drama, so much love, so much fun...
